The National Firefighters’ Department gave a course at the Liceo on the prevention of fires in our institution and showed us what to do in case of their occurrence. The course was both theoretical and practical with clear demonstrations.
Congratulations to them for sharing with us such important information and for their professionalism.
All 151 students from 1st and 2nd grades went to Sodre’s Dra. Adela Reta Auditorium accompanied by several professors. They enjoyed a general open rehearsal of the Sodre’s Symphonic Orchestra which played Brahms under the
conduction of pianist Nelson Freire.
A group of 2nd grade students together with their History professor, Lucía Cruz, and Computer Science professor, Nicolás Duarte, participated with the EduGO – Educational Field Trips project at the Science Club Fair, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
EduGO is an application where students and adults may obtain information on everything regarding the educational field trips available in all of Uruguay. We congratulate the participants for coming up with such a creative initiative and the hours of dedication they spent in order to present the project appropriately.
